From Sheep Wool to Wool Pellet
Wool Pellets are made from 100% Raw Sheeps wool.
Our wool pellets, are 100% sourced from sheep raised on the Sunshine Coast of BC, can vary in consistency, due to the amount of lanolin in the mix batch of wool and the course-ness of the wool fibres.
Regardless of how they look, wool pellets will always do their job, of slow releasing nitrogen, absorbing water, and aerating your soil.
Our Sunshine Coast Wool Pellet blend has a Fertilizer Analysis of NPK 11-0-3.

The Process:
Step 1: Sheep are shorn of their wool, for their health and wellbeing in Spring and/or Fall.
Step 2: After shearing wool is separated into wool for spinning/yarn and un-useable wool for wool pellets.
Step 3: Un-usable wool is separated by sheep breed type, and then a custom Sunsine Coast blend is created by the 4 groups of wool types, that represents the farms/sheep breeds here on the Sunshine Coast.
Step 4: Our blend is packed and shipped to our pelletizer in the Fraser Valley then returned to us for Sunshine Coast Wool Pellet packaging.

Plants that benefit from Nitrogen are:
Foliage House plants
Leafy Greens(Spinach, Kale, Lettuce)
Nitrogen promotes rapid lush foliage growth
